Classic storage solutions represent the highest cost element in any IT infrastructure. This is partly because storage costs ramp up very quickly and partly because most solutions fail to scale, so companies must deploy and pay for over-sized and redundant solutions, which typically end up underutilized. With the introduction of Storage-as-a-Service, however, such problems and any related high investments disappear. Customers are provided with an independent pool, separated from other customers, in a central and dynamically growing storage cluster, which the same can integrate into their infrastructure or application through a variety of existing interfaces. The cluster automatically grows with your needs and you only pay for the amount of disk space you spend.

Classic storage solutions are becoming increasingly unattractive for many companies, as they often must be sized from the start to accommodate possible final phase, which is not always possible. In addition to high costs, the lack of scalability becomes a major issue. With our solution, you can easily scale in both directions, which has a positive effect on your planning security.

Triple redundancy

All data in our Storage-as-a-Service is replicated three times and thus we offer a much higher data security than in the classic, double-replication storage solutions. All data is in a German Tier3+ data center. Moreover, we offer a dedicated and customer-owned storage solution as an option.

SSD speed

We do not compromise on speed. The entire platform is based entirely on SSD technology, so we offer significantly faster read and write performance than traditional solutions. If you want to use the solution in decentralized fashion, we can reduce latency by establishing a direct connection between locations.

Cost effective

With our solution, you not only save the cost of expensive and oversized hardware, but also the running costs by up to 60%. You pay very conveniently only what you have used (pay-as-you-grow), without any double floor. It does not matter if you use our solution centrally or remotely. Take our advice.

A suitable interface for everyone


The basis for our storage as a service is provided by Ceph. With the RBD (RADOS Block Device) kernel module, the storage cluster can be accessed natively without additional gateways. According to experience, RBD connections are the fastest solution to access our storage.



Our SMB Gateway is available for Windows-based platforms. We export corresponding Samba shares for your application, which can then be used to store data on our storage as a service.



Our Storage as a Service provides a full S3 implementation for use as object storage. The object storage can be used externally in an application or alternatively in conjunction with our managed cloud. Furthermore, the S3 interface is complemented by extensive ACLs and a full API.



Just as with the connection via RBD, the Ceph-specific POSIX file system allows integrating large data volumes into existing infrastructures. For example, dedicated server systems can be flexibly extended with storage.



NFS, as probably the most well-known network file system, is used in the same way as SMB in infrastructures, which for example access centrally available data concurrently.
